A National Day of Remembrance for Charlie Kirk is being held on Tuesday, Oct. 14.

The conservative activist was killed by a gunman on Sept. 10 while speaking at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah. Kirk was the co-founder of Turning Point USA , a nonprofit that advocates for conservative politics on high school and college campuses. The 31-year-old was also a close ally to the White House's current administration, with President Donald Trump speaking at his funeral on Sept. 21 in Glendale, Arizona.
