LAFAYETTE, Ind.(WLFI) - Back in the 50's, things looked a little different, but as Good Samaritan Project's Paula Davis refers to that time, it was the happy days!
So for this year's Good Samaritan Project Cancer Survivor Brunch and Resource Fair, it will be an immersive 50's experience.
Event Chairperson Kelly Capitanio said, "This is a women-empowering resource fair, not only are we going to be able to have fun, but we will be able to provide resources for women that are going through treatment."
Matchbox Coworking Studio will be transformed into a diner for the event, with an old-fashioned sock hop, pampering services, 50s fashion show, and themed foods. It'll be an afternoon for any woman, cancer survivor or not.
