Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Flacco will make some rare NFL history when they meet on Thursday Night Football this week.
Both quarterbacks are 40 years old or older, with Rodgers being 41, and it is only the third time in NFL history that two quarterbacks age 40 or over will meet on the gridiron.
The only other two times it happened were when Tom Brady and Drew Brees met twice in 2020 while Brady was on the Buccaneers. All things considered, if both quarterbacks stay healthy, it is likely the same will happen with Rodgers and Flacco.
In his first start with the Bengals on Sunday in a 27-18 loss to the Packers, Flacco was hardly the issue. He had 219 yards for two touchdowns while completing 64 percent of his passes.
