Mia by Tanishq is aggressively promoting gold exchange and recycling this festive season, according to Ajoy Chawla, CEO of Titan Company’s Jewellery Division, as India’s jewellery industry grapples with a bullion supply shortage.

“There is a shortage in the supply of bullion in the last few days,” Chawla acknowledged in a conversation with businessline on Tuesday on the sidelines of the launch of the new Manifest collection, though he added that Mia has managed the situation through advance planning. “We have been okay. We have been able to manage because we planned well in advance.”
