MADISON (WKOW) — A woman accused of stabbing and killing her own mother was found guilty of first-degree intentional homicide.
Sierra Schoonover , 31, of Blue Mounds, pleaded guilty, but not guilty by reason of insanity, on Tuesday to the homicide charge. The court dismissed the domestic enhancer on the charge and found her guilty.
Bail was continued. A status conference is scheduled for Oct. 23, where the court will address the insanity portion of her plea.
