Brockville’s French Catholic school is inviting the community to celebrate its three decades in the community.

Académie catholique Ange-Gabriel is holding a 30th anniversary “fête champêtre,” or outdoor party, at its location, 1515 Kensington Parkway, at 5 p.m. on Thursday.

“As well as being a formal event, with the presence of a few local dignitaries, this celebration is also meant to be a community event, with various activities and the chance for participants to share a meal,” Mélanie De Wys, a spokeswoman for the Conseil des écoles catholiques du Centre-Est, said in a French-language message.
