MOLINE, Ill. (KWQC) - Moline is adding the popular barbeque restaurant Texas Roadhouse to the John Deere Road corridor.

The city sold property to to Scott Capital Group to build a Texas Roadhouse at 3620 38th Ave., the road north of John Deere Road for $800,000, according to city council documents.

The city offered the business a tax incentive of up to $350,000 over seven years, or 80% of the 2.25% of the sales tax they get each year.

The city is responsible for delivering municipal utilities to the lot line as part of the agreement.

The city approved the sale in June.
