GALESBURG, Ill. (KWQC) - Firefighters in Galesburg battled flames on the outside of a house Tuesday morning.

The Galesburg Fire Department came to a house fire at 2:30 p.m. in the 60 block of Sumner Street, according to a media release.

When crews arrived, officials said they found flames coming from the east side of the home.

Crews extinguished the blaze while searching the inside of the home. Officials said no people or pets were found inside.

No injuries were reported. Officials are investigating the fire’s cause.
