Massachusetts saw a lot of rain from this week’s nor’easter.
The rain started on Thursday and continued into Tuesday.
While some areas got less than an inch, other spots, especially the South Shore, received several inches of rain as of Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service .
On Sunday, as precipitation began to lighten up across the state, the South Shore continued to experience a steady rate of about 1 inch of rain every three hours, Boston 25 meteorologist Tucker Antico wrote on X.
Parts of Duxbury measured 6 inches of rainfall. On the islands, Martha’s Vineyard saw around 2 inches, while Nantucket got around 1 inch.
In Boston, Fenway Park received nearly 2 inches of rain, with 1.91 inches landing in the ballpark.
