Man accused of plotting terror attack on Jewish people used 10 Facebook accounts to promote jihad, jury told

An alleged Islamic State fanatic posted a series messages on Facebook to promote the terror group before plotting the mass murder of Jews in north Manchester in the summer of 2024, a jury has been told.

Walid Saadaoui created 10 Facebook accounts under names such as Haroon Nidma, Jhon Muller, Liya Ernia and Will Alba which were used as ‘vehicles to spread his extremist views’, according to the prosecution.

The Tunisia-born defendant became increasingly fervent and encouraged 'jihad' and posted 'I love to fight in the way of God and…get killed, to fight again and get killed and to fight again and get killed', jurors were told.
