Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin made his frustrations with Monday’s media availability very clear.
Tomlin spoke to the media for about 20 minutes the morning after his team improved to 4-1 with Sunday’s win over the Cleveland Browns and ended the press conference by taking an irritated dig at reporters.
“Boy, you guys were annoying me today with some of that,” he said as he walked away from the podium .
Tomlin’s comment came after a question about quarterback Joe Flacco, whom the Steelers will face on Thursday when they play the Cincinnati Bengals. A reporter asked about the difficulty for a veteran to start two games in eight games for a new team.
“Doesn’t appear to be hard for Joe Flacco,” Tomlin said.
The question was fair given the fact that Flacco just arrived in Cincinnati, bu
