The annual Thanksgiving food drive, run by the Rotary Club of the 1000 Islands and the Rotary Club of Brockville, collected 9,580 pounds of non-perishable food and donations of more than $18,000 for the Brockville and Area Food Bank. Article content

“That should last us, from the food perspective, until Easter,” Amanda Petch, the food bank’s general manager, said Tuesday.

This year’s total is up from the 2024 drive, which saw 8,412 pounds of food collected and donations of $17,507.
