CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) - University of Illinois football has sold out its fourth straight home game of the season, against Rutgers Nov. 1.

Illinois Athletics shared in a press release that the four-game sellout streak is the program's longest since selling out 28 consecutive games from 1982-87.

The Fighting Illini also sold out four straight games in 2008.

Illinois will play three of its final four matchups at Gies Memorial Stadium, with Maryland on Nov. 15 and Northwestern Nov. 29.

Illinois is on a bye this week and will play at Washington after the break, hoping to rebound from the loss to Ohio State.
