The playground at Zurich Lions Park reopened Wednesday, Oct. 8, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a “first official play,” where students from St. Boniface school were some of the first children to experience the updated playground. Article content

The replacement of the playground’s old equipment was approved in May when council awarded the project to Henderson Recreation of Simcoe for $104,800. The playground closed Sept. 14 as the municipality began the replacement process.
