A woman is facing criminal charges following a home invasion-style robbery in Guelph.

According to Guelph police, a man told officers just after 2 a.m. on Sunday that several people had entered his apartment near Watson Parkway North and Starwood Drive , dragged him out of bed and sprayed him with bear spray.

The man said they then took his wallet and a diamond ring. The intruders also claimed to have a gun, but the man said he didn’t see one.

Security cameras showed three men arriving at the building in a black car and entering with a woman who was already on scene. Minutes later, all four are seen fleeing in the car at a high rate of speed.

A few hours after the incident, police arrested a female suspect.
