INDIANAPOLIS — The Colts are taking a developmental flyer on an offensive tackle who has taken a unique path to the NFL.

Indianapolis signed former Dolphins offensive lineman Bayron Matos to the practice squad on Tuesday, picking up the 6-7, 334-pounder in a transaction that released Marcellus Johnson, the brother of backup nose tackle Eric Johnson.
