The group of local women selected the Owen Sound-based Safe ‘N Sound as the recipient of its September donation of $36,100. Article content

“Safe ‘N Sound provides essential services, advocacy, and safe space for some of the most vulnerable members of our community,” it said in a news release from 100 Women Who Care Grey Bruce. “This funding will help to build dignity, security, and hope for those in need.”

Safe ‘N Sound provides a number of drop-in services including food, showers, laundry, phone, internet, crisis intervention support, clothing, shelter, and more from its location on 8th Street East.
