Ava, Mo., animal clinic coming to the rescue of Springfield’s Rescue One

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - Springfield’s Rescue One hired new veterinarians. The hire will enable the clinic to remain operational.

In September, Rescue One lost its lone veterinarian on staff. Now, the owner of the Animal Clinic of Ava, Mo., will serve as Rescue One’s new medical director. His team will take turns providing treatment at the Springfield clinic.

The organization says thanks to the community’s help, the clinic will stay open and won’t miss a beat. Over the coming weeks, the transition of care will begin.
