SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane County auditor is asking voters to send in ballots early because of recent changes in U.S. Postal Service operations.

Some of the changes include shifting to one daily mail pickup at many post offices.

Auditory Vicky Dalton is asking Spokane County voters to send their ballots by Tuesday, October 28, which is one week before Election Day.

The deadline to drop your ballots off at an official Spokane County drop box is no later than 8 p.m. on Election Day, November 4.
