The Sauble Beach Cross-Country Ski and Snowboard Club has managed to replace all the equipment that was damaged and stolen after it was hit by back-to-back thefts just over a year ago.
Club President Vic Weitendorf appeared before South Bruce Peninsula council on Oct. 7 where he thanked the town for a grant the club received and residents for their ongoing support and to provide an update as they prepare for the upcoming ski and snowshoe season.

“We are looking forward to a snowy winter with lots of skiing and snowshoeing, hoping that all enthusiasts come out to our club to enjoy these winter activities,” Weitendorf told council.
