KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Missouri’s abortion clinics can now operate without several state restrictions after a court victory for reproductive rights groups.

The American Civil Liberties Union announced on Tuesday, Oct. 14, that the Western District Court of Appeals affirmed an injunction it initially sought alongside Missouri’s Planned Parenthood locations.

The State filed an appeal earlier in the year against the injunction to allow the restrictions that were found to be medically unnecessary to continue. Now, the move blocks those restrictions and bans on the procedure.
