WASHINGTON — A federal judge repeatedly admonished prosecutors Tuesday after the government disclosed two new surveillance videos on the eve of trial for a woman accused of assaulting an FBI agent.

The videos, captured by exterior cameras at the D.C. Jail, show part of the scene during the July arrest of Sidney Lori Reid during an ICE arrestee transfer outside the jail. The videos were turned over by prosecutors on Monday after they discovered them in the possession of the D.C. Department of Corrections (DOC) during witness prep.

During a preliminary hearing in August, a government witness claimed the two cameras were inoperative at the time Reid was arrested. While both parties agreed the newly discovered videos weren’t likely to help either side, U.S. District Judge Sparkle Sooknanan
