An 11-year-old boy is 'battling like a champion' in intensive care a week after he was severely hurt in a horrific tram collision in south Manchester. Travis Ashe sustained life-altering injuries when he was hit by the Metrolink tram at the Crossacres stop on Brownley Road in Wythenshawe at around 3.40pm last Tuesday (October 7).
