The Steelers hosted veteran safety and former All-Pro special-teamer George Odum for a visit on Tuesday, KPRC2’s Aaron Wilson reported.

Odum went undrafted in 2018 out of Central Arkansas, signing with the Colts. He played through 2021 in Indianapolis before spending 2022-24 with the San Francisco 49ers. Over his career he has 12 starts, including two last season. He has 200 career total tackles, nine pass deflections, and three interceptions.

Now 31, Odum has made most of his NFL impact as a core special teamer. On that side of the ball he’s played 2,056 career snaps, including 214 last season. He was named a first-team All-Pro special teamer in 2020 and made the second team in 2022.
