The Register's Chad Leistikow and Tyler Tachman utilized their Tuesday podcast to dissect what Iowa football can expect from Penn State as the Nittany Lions look to push forward after firing James Franklin.

Iowa players will be expecting the Nittany Lions’ best shot.

“Coach Franklin was a great coach, had a lot of wins at Penn State. It seemed like all the players loved him," Iowa center Logan Jones said. "And anytime you go through that as a college football player, it's tough. Losing a coach, we've kind of gone through that (with offensive coordinator Brian Ferentz in 2023). ... It's tough, and we expect them to be motivated coming in.”
