Astrophysicist Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson is coming back to Hershey for a live event.
Tyson will bring his “Cosmic Collisions” live show to central Pennsylvania to discuss objects in space which can impact each other or the Earth.
“On occasion, these asteroid & comet impacts on Earth – render life extinct," reads a press release for the event. “Learn why and how this happens, and what we are doing about it.
Tyson is known for his prolific scientific commentary, as well as for work as host of “Cosmos: A SpaceTime Odyssey.” He is the fifth head of the Hayden Planetarium in New York City and research associate at the Department of Astrophysics at the American Museum of Natural History.
Tyson will appear at the Hershey Theatre on March 5, and the show will begin at 7:30 p.m. Tickets go on sal
