Laredo health officials celebrate grand opening of the preventative care services clinic

LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - A brand new health clinic dedicated to preventative care is now open to the public.

Today, officials from the City of Laredo Health Department were on site for the grand opening of the preventive care services clinic.

The suite is found at 6801 McPherson Rd, Suite 112.

The new clinic is yet another from the city to improve access to health services to the community.

Officials made it clear that the importance comes from needing to expand care. In Laredo, the city is medically underserved but Laredo Public Health is charged with ensuring access to public health for all.

Services include essential screenings, immunizations and preventative testing to help people learn about any health concerns.
