FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A Selma man is missing after leaving for a hunting trip in the now snow-covered Fresno County mountains.
Deputies say 65-year-old Ron Dailey left home Monday morning and was expected back by the evening - but he never returned.
According to the sheriff's office, he told family he was going to the Shaver Lake / Courtright Reservoir area to go hunting. Since then, both areas have been hit by a winter storm.
While the subfreezing temperatures remain a concern, his family says he also has underlying medical conditions.
Dailey is 5 feet 7 inches tall, 220 pounds, with brown eyes, brown hair and a white beard. He was last seen driving a silver 2002 Dodge Dakota with California license plate 16028S2.
