GOOSE CREEK, S.C. (WCSC) - Police are investigating the discovery of a body in the Goose Creek area on Tuesday.

Goose Creek Police Chief LJ Roscoe confirmed a man’s body was found in the area of St. James Avenue and Gainsborough Drive.

Authorities have not yet released the man’s name or details about a possible cause of death.

The investigation is underway, Roscoe said.
