Apache Junction Police Department is investigating a two-vehicle crash at West Superstition Boulevard at North Delaware Drive.

AJPD and the Superstition Fire & Medical Rescue responded at about 2:36 p.m. Oct. 14 to reports of the crash.

An adult female driving a sedan collided with an adult male operating a motorcycle. The motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. The other driver remained on scene and cooperated with investigators. Impairment is not believed to be a factor at this time, police said.

Investigators are on scene working to determine what led up to the collision. Westbound traffic on Superstition is closed at Delaware. Southbound traffic on Delaware is closed at Superstition. Motorists are encouraged to use Apache Trail, Lost Dutchman Boulevar
