AEW star Kota Ibushi has provided an update on the severe leg injury he suffered at the October 8th AEW Collision taping, stating that while doctors have told him he faces a two-year recovery before he can wrestle again, he intends to prove them wrong.

In a post on his Instagram account, which included a video of his leg in a cast, Ibushi revealed the severity of the injury and the daunting recovery timeline presented to him. “My current condition. One year to fully recover. Two years until I can step into the ring again,” he wrote.
