COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Associated Press released its updated state football rankings on Tuesday after a vote by writers across Ohio.

Kirtland remains Northeast Ohio’s lone No. 1-ranked team, sitting atop Division VI. Mentor is the area’s highest-ranked team in Division I, sitting in the No. 2 spot behind Cincinnati Elder, while St. Edward is third ahead of its Saturday afternoon showdown with No. 5 Cincinnati Archbishop Moeller.
