A Bexar County woman was sentenced to a term of probation this week after she was captured on a doorbell camera while holding a gun to a person’s head.
Emonee Shavon Russell, 25, of San Antonio was indicted on Aug. 14, 2024, on a second-degree felony charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. She pleaded guilty on July 25. During a hearing on Tuesday morning in the 426th Judicial District Court, Judge Steve Duskie followed a plea agreement in the case and declined to find Russell guilty, instead placing her on five years of deferred adjudication probation.
Russell posted a bond of $30,000, on June 28, 2024, and was released from law enforcement custody.
Killeen police were dispatched on May 26, 2024, to an assault at a residence in the 2000 block of Twilight Drive.
