YANKTON, SD (KTIV) - Mount Marty University, in Yankton, South Dakota, has announced its 12th president, following a nationwide search.

Professor Mark Brown, who currently serves as the executive director of the biotechnology management program at Mount Marty’s Sioux Falls campus, will take the reins as the new president of the university.

He began working at Mount Marty University in 2023 to develop the biotechnology management program, which launched that fall.

Brown will take over for Marc Long, who is retiring at the end of the year after 10 years at the helm.
