The Walt Disney Co. is making a significant change in the C-suite of its experiences division, which oversees the company’s theme parks , cruise line and consumer products businesses.
Kevin Lansberry, the CFO of Disney Experiences, will be retiring after 39 years with the company in February. Michael Moriarty, currently President and managing director of Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, will succeed him as executive VP and CFO of the division, which is led by chairman Josh D’Amaro.
“Michael Moriarty brings a deep understanding of our long-term strategy to broaden the reach and impact of Disney Experiences,” said D’Amaro in a statement. “His global perspective and leadership will help guide us through an exciting chapter of growth, reaching new fans in new places and on new platforms.”
