GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - The Residences at Liberty Campus unveiled 46 newly updated apartment units within the historic Anderson and Pershing buildings.

The 14-month project came in just under $18 million. Vice President Drew Sova of White Lotus Group said planning began after the campus was listed on the National Register of Historic Places, which allowed the team to apply for low-income housing tax credits through the Nebraska Investment Finance Authority.

“The planning side to that started with the entire campus being designated on the National Registry of Historic Places. That then moved us into requesting an application for low income housing tax credits through the Nebraska Investment Finance Authority,” Sova said.
