Srinagar, Oct 14: Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Jammu and Kashmir Branch Office (JKBO) under the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Government of India, celebrated World Standards Day by organising “Manak Mahotsav” at the Sher-e-Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC), Srinagar. More than 450 students enthusiastically participated in the event.

According to a statement issued here, the celebration was graced by Saurabh Bhagat, Commissioner Secretary, Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, J&K, who was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
