WASHINGTON (CNN) - The U.S. State Department says it has revoked visas from people who allegedly “celebrated” the murder of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

In a social media post on Tuesday, the State Department listed examples from six people who had their visas revoked.

They were from Argentina, South Africa, Paraguay, Mexico, Brazil and Germany.

It’s unclear if the six are the only ones who had their visas revoked.

The State Department said it continues to identify foreigners who celebrated Kirk’s assassination.

The move to revoke or deny visas to people for their comments about Kirk has raised questions about their legality under the First Amendment.
