ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Albuquerque International Sunport is among several airports refusing to play a video from U.S. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem addressing the government shutdown. Secretary Noem shot the video blaming Democrats for the shutdown, with the intention of playing it at security checkpoints across the country.
However, many airports say the video violates rules against political messages in their facilities. The City of Albuquerque told KRQE News 13 that the Sunport will not be running the video.
