Peoria High’s Jaquarius Green has been the linchpin since his freshman year, but this season has taken on an even bigger role, physically and figuratively.

( 25News Now ) - Jaquarius Green has always been among the biggest and strongest in his age group since he was a kid. He even recieved national attention as a twelve-year old when he earned a football offer from FCS Morgan State University in Maryland.

He’s also been the anchor on both sides of the line for the Peoria High Lions all four years, even starting in the 2022 5A State Title game as a freshman. This year is no different, as Green has helped propelled the Lions to a 5-2 record, and even recorded a fumble recovery for a TD last Friday night.

After coming so close his freshman year, Jaquarius Green is hungry to take his senior year one step further with a state championship.
