VFW Post #2555 and several community leaders held a “Golden Valley Fall Festival” Fundraiser Sunday at Veterans Park in Golden Valley to dedicate a new plaque honoring veterans, to celebrate the community and its veterans, to raise money, and to get the word out about various community projects.

Local vendors, officials, veteran groups and volunteers were at the event, offering items for sale, educational and informational materials and activities for attendees. Pastor David Rose, there with Turning Point USA, blessed the park during the event. VFW Post #2555 provided food. There was a raffle, live drawings, karaoke and sports and cheer camps for kids provided by Coach Amber Crabtree and teams from Black Mountain School as well as Golden Valley Christian Academy.
