CLEVELAND, Ohio — If you were anywhere near Dix Stadium celebrating Kent State’s homecoming this weekend, you probably heard the roar.

After 26 straight FBS losses, the Golden Flashes finally broke the streak, and did not leave anything up to chance. The Golden Flashes thumped UMass 42–6, sending fans into a frenzy that felt more like a bowl game than a mid-October MAC clash.
