For the Michigan women’s tennis team, home-court advantage is more than just an empty phrase. And with the Wolverine Invitational being the only home event of the fall season, the Wolverines made the most of it.

With the full roster in action for the three-day event, Michigan won 40 of 45 singles and doubles matches against opponents from Ohio State, Eastern Michigan, Michigan State, Iowa, Miami and Northwestern. Every player had something unique to offer, and each athlete ended the weekend with at least one victory.

“We have lots of options this year, from top to bottom,” Wolverines coach Ronni Bernstein said. “And this is good for us as coaches to see how they are under pressure and competing. … So, super helpful weekend, we had great weather, and we got a lot of good tennis in.”
