LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — A work session on NV Energy’s proposal for repaying some 60,000 overcharged customers will have to be rescheduled.
The Public Utilities Commission of Nevada is investigating how the overcharging happened.
Tuesday morning, it planned to review the utility’s plan for repaying most of those customers. But then, staffers told commissioners that NV Energy still hadn’t given them access to the necessary customer data. Attorneys for the power company raised concerns for its customers’ privacy and security, but the commission said it still wants to see those records.
