New weather maps show parts of the UK are set to be blanketed with snow , with temperatures expected to plunge to a chilly 0C, as freezing conditions batter several areas.
The weather charts reveal that unsettled conditions will sweep across the country from around midday, on October 25, and bring with it heavy rain showers and winds from the south.
