Zubeen Garg case: The investigation into the sudden death of legendary singer and composer Zubeen Garg is gaining speed. Authorities continue to probe the circumstances surrounding the tragedy. Recently five of the seven people accused in connection with the singer’s drowning have been sent to judicial custody for two weeks.

Among those sent to custody are the late singer’s manager and his cousin. The accused Shyamkanu Mahanta, Siddharth Sharma, Sandipan Garg, Paresh Baishya, and Nandeswar Bora were remanded by the Chief Judicial Magistrate of Kamrup Metropolitan District, Baloram Kshetri, following the expiry of their police remand.
