Lily Allen is set to ‘drop a secret album written in just 10 days’ over seven years since her last release.

The singer rose to fame in 2006 with her debut single Smile, which reached number one on the UK charts.

Her debut album Alright, Still sold over 2.6 million copies worldwide and earnt her a Grammy Award nomination too.

In the years since she’s released another three albums – the most recent, No Shame, being in 2018.

Since then, fans have eagerly been awaiting new music, however there’s been a few delays along the way.

Although Lily spent five weeks in a music studio in 2022, she said it felt ‘contrived’ and the music was not ready to be released. Then, last year, the singer revealed she’d recorded around 50 songs for her next music project, which she was still working on.
