LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Retiring U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell was honored by the Kentucky Chamber Tuesday night at the 79th Annual Meeting Dinner held at the Louisville Marriott Downtown.

McConnell is Kentucky's longest-serving senator and the longest-serving party leader in U.S. history.

He Kentucky Chamber event highlighted how his leadership has shaped the Commonwealth's economic and political landscape over the past four decades. He has helped his senator seat.

At the event's conclusion, Sen. McConnell was interviewed by Sen. Julie Raque Adams about his legacy and the nation's current state.
