When Alabama football needed a play to win the game Saturday at Missouri, it went to a freshman. Facing a fourth down late in the fourth quarter, quarterback Ty Simpson found Lotzeir Brooks on a difficult throw for a gain that moved the sticks and led to the game-winning touchdown.

Brooks has been the Crimson Tide’s freshman find of the year for 2025. Despite coming in as a three-star, he’s earning serious playing time and impressing teammates and coaches alike.
