A magnificent Central Park West penthouse in a building immortalized in “Ghostbusters” has hit the market for $42 million.

The sellers are Cathy and Marc Lasry, the billionaire financier who reportedly lost an opportunity to be President Obama’s Ambassador to France after he had allegedly been tied to a Russian mob-run poker and money-laundering ring in 2013, as The Post reported at that time.

That year, Lasry — who denied the claims — bought the penthouse duplex at 55 Central Park West, a landmarked building in the Central Park West Historic District, for $33 million, according to property records. 3
